# Showorder

> Put your recital routines in an order where no dancer has a quick change, then print the program, the backstage running order and each family's list. Free, no sign up, runs in your browser.

Showorder is a browser only running order planner for dance recitals, piano and music recitals, talent shows and school concerts. The organiser pastes each routine (title, song, choreographer, level, length, costume note) and the performers in it. A deterministic solver orders the routines so every performer has at least N routines between appearances (N is 3 by default, with a per performer override for hard costume changes), keeps pinned slots (opener, closer, locked numbers, either side of an intermission, a fixed act), can spread levels and keep a teacher's routines apart or together, and can split one roster into several shows while keeping families together and show lengths balanced. It names every quick change it could not remove and says why. It prints the audience program, the backstage running order with quick change flags and dressing room calls, a "your numbers" sheet per performer, costume and dressing room lists, and a quick change report. Performer names stay in the browser.

## Pricing

Free. No paid plan is offered at present. Up to 400 routines, several shows, pins and grouping rules, every printout and CSV are free with no sign up.

## What it is not

- Not affiliated: Showorder is not affiliated with any dance studio software company, dance teachers association, music examination board or competition organiser.
- Not the artistic director: the running order is the organiser's decision; the planner proposes an order, flags quick changes and explains them.
- Not a studio management system: no accounts, billing, attendance, ticketing or registration.
- Not a safety tool: it plans the order of a show and makes no claim about the supervision or welfare of the children in it.
- Not an uploader: dancer names are never sent anywhere; there is no server.
